Unit #18 finished up the class' examination of English grammar by covering modal, phrasal, and passive verbs, along with relative clauses. Through this unit I learned the significant difference which one's choice of modal verb can make to the meaning of sentence. I also learned the correct structure of passive verb tenses and the differences between intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable phrasal verbs. Overall, this final grammar lesson has taught me to be more aware of the grammar rules which I often take for granted, but may be very difficult for my students to learn.
