In this unit I watched two videos which presented two examples of teaching, an ineffective method, the first, and an effective method, the second. The first was ineffective because the teachers was unprepared and hostile. His attitude and presentation culminated in mass confusion amongst students. The second displayed an effective lesson in which the teacher was prepared, patient, and engaging. All students were addressed equally and the lesson was planned well. Students were engaged at a level which was comfortable. This warm attitude and preparedness allowed students connect with the material and learn.
