This unit revisits many important points: be clear and concise, help students with their motivation, know your students' backgrounds with English, etc. There are many different kinds of learners--and the teacher must adapt to the environment of the learners. For instance, you would not teach a class of adults who are trying to learn Business English the same way that you would teach a class of children who are trying to learn Conversational English. This kind of unit is one of the most important to me because I want to help my students as much as possible--and to do that, I must know their needs.
