After completing all 20 units of the 120 hour certificate, I now feel that I have a strong basis of understanding to begin my career as an ESL teacher. I will continue to study on my own and expand my knowledge, but I feel that I have a grasp not only on basic grammar and lesson planning, but ways to make lessons fun, effective, and efficient, and to keep students engaged regardless of their age or language level.
