This unit went over five types of classes - beginners, young learners, business, multilingual, and monolingual. It especially focused on the business language learner and gave an overview on how to handle these classes. The needs assessment was a new concept for me and one that seems highly useful. It not only allows you to assess the needs of the students, it gives you personal information about the individuals giving the teacher a greater understanding of where the students are coming from.
