First lessons can be a problem situation for teachers, but the skills taught in this unit will help to eradicate the problems. This unit helps to show you how to approach groups of students who don't know each other yet as well as students who are already comfortable with each other. Also provided are many activities that a teacher could use for many different purposes. Not only that, but this unit goes over how to deal with reluctant students. This unit, and this course in general, has been very helpful to me. I now feel confident to deal with these situations in the classroom.
