I have learned that, in order to be effective and efficient in learning new language, teachers need to expose the students to as much of the language as possible, teachers should encourage students to participate with games, encourage activities outside the classroom. That is, give them activities that requires them to interact with the real people. For example, teaching them Italian, you encourage them to visit Italian restaurants so as to learn to express themselves in Italian. Also, teachers should use multimedia to enhance learning experience.
