The passive voice is a tricky subject to teach. We are often discouraged from using it all together, especially in writing, but this unit proves that there are some genuinely useful situation where it is suitable. Transitive and intransitive is another aspect of grammar that native speakers do not pay special attention to but seem to grasp intuitively. I can tell from past experience that foreign learners of English often find it confusing. The modal auxiliary verbs (as taught in the video lesson) are another important subject that can be scaled in difficulty for the students. It would probably be best and easiest to start with "can/could" and then teach the nuance of the other verbs as the English course progresses.
