This unit covered the various teaching tools that are commonly used in classrooms and that are available to teachers for use , and the pros and cons with some of these aids . Some of the tools mentioned are likely a bit outdated and many are still timeless for use . The older more outdated devices such as tapes , vhs , and cds will likely fall out of use as more time passes as tech trends move more and more toward computers in the future . However overhead projectors , work books/resource books will likely always have a place in teaching aid , as surly will all types of real media that can be touched or held by students.
