I learnt how to effectively allocate assignments to a multi-lingual class. Dividing the class into groups where common language is spoken. Giving them a partner to work on English together in their native tongue group. This will improve communication. Also any worksheets can be completed with small groups in the native language and then discussed in English with the teacher as the medium of language attainment.
