Unit thirteen covered both a slightly complicated and commonly neglected aspect of English language teaching, pronunciation, as well as phonology. I learned quite a bit about the phonemic alphabet in this study (I don’t believe I had ever heard of that before, although I had noticed it in dictionaries, of course) along with how to explain and teach intonations, articulations, syllables, and more.
