Like the present tense unit, Unit 6 covered the past tense unit in four categories: Past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. The usage part clearly indicated how the forms can be used in sentences by providing clear examples in each category. By doing the task sheet and going over some teaching ideas, I was able to have a clearer idea of how the usage could be presented in a classroom situation.Reviewing past simple and past participle of base form would also helps teach the past tense unit.
