Every time teacher starts working with a new group is so important, that it’s difficult to underestimate recommendations for a smooth launch. Creating a rapport with students is important for both novices and familiar with each other guys. Various questionnaires, surveys, warming games and engaging activities can help creating positive atmosphere and open up students. Adjusting needs, expectations and levels of students is also an important aspect to deal with. The more homogeneous is group, the easier to teach, but reality shows that it’s quite a rare thing to meet. Large groups, different levels, reluctant students, monolingual or multicultural, overloaded adults or troubled teens…it’s hard to enumerate all challenges of our profession, but overcoming them through finding right keys brings immeasurable satisfaction and sense of living. I’m personally grateful for all studying materials provided in this course and hope to continue my teaching career at the new level, better prepared and being aware of a way more components and facades of this unbelievable profession.
