With the help of this unit I now believe that I can safely say that I have mastered the present tenses of the English language. Before, I thought that there were only three tenses in English, but now I know and fully understand all twelve of the present tenses and why they are necessary in the language. The most eye-opening part of this chapter for me would have to be the realization that what comes across as an easy description of specific ongoing events to a native speaker of English may be a difficult concept for a student to grasp. However, I believe that I am now fully prepared to deal with the typical errors and mistakes that any students may make.
