This unit dealt with Unit 16 introduces five methods for constructing conditional sentences in English. The first is zero conditional, which features general truths under present tenses. Second is the first conditional, which covers a possible condition and its probable result under present and future tenses. Third is the second conditional which is a hypothetical condition and its probable result which falls under past and presents tenses. Fourth is third conditional, which is an unreal past condition and its probable result in the past and perfect condition. Mixed conditional is the fifth and represents an unreal past condition and its probable result in the present.
