This unit broke down the types of students a teacher might be dealing with. It dealt specifically with special groups such as beginners, children, and business English learners. Each special group has it's own challenges to deal with, but it seems that each has it's own rewards as well. It seems that the most challenging group might be the business English learners because they are also coping with working all day and some might not be motivated to learn the language, whereas one-on-one classes often have high motivation even if inconsistent attendance. I will be teaching college students, but it seems as though my students will fall into a mixture of these categories, so this unit was incredibly helpful.
