In this unit, I watched two videos of a class being conducted. The first video showed a class that was not equipped with the language the teacher was using. The teacher was unfriendly and forceful as well. He did not give clear instructions and the students were often confused. In addition, they did not participate which caused the teacher to become frustrated. The teacher was also rude when the students did not answer or their answer was incorrect. In the second video the teacher was very friendly and engaging with the students. The students participated a lot more in the second video compared to the first and they seemed to understand the content more. In the second video there was a clear ESA method being executed by the teacher which helped the students understand the content better. By watching these videos I learned the difference for what makes a good teacher and how to get the students involved and enjoy class.
