This unit was just the refreshment my memory needed to get a good grasp on the basics of English grammar and sentence structure, which will definitely help me with my teaching. Studying the basic parts of speech such as gerunds and articles has allowed me to see previously difficult concepts as simple words that are commonly used and easy to learn. For example, I never really knew what in the world an article was, until I learned that there's only and handful of them in the entire English language! Overall I already feel a lot more confident about my knowledge of the English language.
