This unit focuses on what an efficient teacher should be. It provides ideas and examples on what roles an educator can play in order to create an environment that is conducive to learning. It also provides insight into the students which is incredibly important in order to understand and empathize with them. Unit 1 is the perfect start for this course because it gives us an overview of teaching. After reading the material, it changed my outlook when it comes to teaching and I learned that there are different factors to consider both on the teacher and the student's part in order to have a harmonious teaching relationship.
