In this unit we study the role of coursebooks and lesson materials with its advantages and disadvantages. There are many different coursebooks and lesson materials in English teaching so it is very important to choose these carefully and to ensure that they are adapted to the students level. When using a coursebook in a lesson be careful to use additional authentic or created material so as to keep the students interest and motivation and help them gain confidence in their language skills.
