In this unit we study the conditionals and reported speech. It is important to be able to understand and use conditionals in any language as this part of the grammatical structure of the language. We learn that there are 5 types of conditionals , zero, first, second, third and mixed. We study their forms followed by their usage and examples of sentences. We then move on to study reported speech which is very much used in storytelling, relating past events, reporting news and such,... We look at different teaching ideas for the study and activate stages of both conditionals and reported speech.
