The focus of this unit is how English is physically produced and how teachers of English Language Learners can teach students how to more successfully reproduce English so that it sounds more natural. The unit also includes an analysis and description of the language through rhythm, intonation, and stress. I found this topic to be very interesting but I believe I learned the most when I reached the section on international phonemic symbols. Although exposed to them in elementary school, this was much more in depth and challenging.
