This unit refreshed my memory on the different kinds of past tenses. Similar to the earlier unit on the present tense, this unit was a great refresher on material that I had learned previously in school. With this refresher, I feel more confident to explain the different types of past tenses. This chapter reviewed the four different kinds of past tenses: past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. I learned the different uses for each of the tense and some common mistakes made when using each.
