In this section I learned about the importance of teaching pronunciation. I understand why many educators shy away from it. It is difficult. I learned about the IPA Chart and became familiar with the three different sections - vowels, consonants and diphthongs.The difference ways of teaching pronunciation of individual sounds is through peer dictation your own mouth, visuals, phonemes and tongue twisters. I will study more about them and incorporate them in my teaching.
