This was very useful unit, and parts of it were actually quite challenging! Like all native English speakers I use English every day, all the time, and most of the time I use it correctly. But unfortunately most of us have had only basic grammar lessons at a relatively young age, so we no longer remember the rules of the language. I write as part of my job so I've had more extensive training in English, but still I could not have named all the verb tenses! But I'm very aware that I must know these rules well so I'm equipped to teach English grammar to students learning the language for the first time.
