This unit concerns testing, which I believe is vitally important. The most essential one is the placement test as to ensure the student is placed in the correct class with appropriate students around the same level as themselves. Too many times have a seen a student placed above their capability or even fallen so far behind the other children. This is why a regular progress test must be set to make sure the students can continue to handle the materials well otherwise they waste their time in a class that is not suitable for them. This must be done at regular intervals and not as way for the children to brag about their progress or level.
