I feel this unit is important and often overlooked compared to units consisting of hard grammar rules and such. Often times teachers may not always consider the type of class or students they have which would cause many problems with the success of the class as well as creating a comfortable learning environment. Having this unit outline all the various types of learners that may be in a classroom was extremely valuable to me. Knowing how to approach a class is half the battle when it comes to teaching. Additionally, gaining insight into age groups that my expertise does not lie with will be very useful in my future teachings.
