The material of this unit has definitely enhanced my lesson planning and teaching abilities as a whole. I feel that the most valuable thing that I have taken away from this unit would have to be the basics of lesson planning and how to keep my lesson plans simple and flexible. I have also realized that no amount of planning can totally prevent things from going wrong in the classroom, therefore predicting and preparing for "bumps in the road" is absolutely necessary.
