Learning about the International Phonemic Alphabet was definitely the most interesting thing that I took away from this unit. I feel like it is also the most important thing I learned because I have always come across those strange symbols and letters in my life and now I understand what they are and how to read them! I can already imagine countless situations that I may come across that can be easily solved with the help of the phonemic alphabet.
