This unit showed two different teaching styles of the same lesson and highlighted the important yet subtle factors that affect students participation as well as the lesson's effectiveness. I learned that the lesson points must firstly be slowly worked up to and fully explained so as not to confuse student and also ensure that they fully understand the concepts being presented to them. It is important to give plenty of examples, speak clearly, and to encourage the students all throughout the lesson to ensure effectiveness.
