In this unit we looked at a variety of materials available to teachers of English as a second language. The unit explained that while helpful for organizing the general syllabus of a class, course books should be supplemented with other materials. These supplemental materials may include carefully selected media authentic to native speakers as well as teacher created materials that can be catered to the specific needs and interests of a given class.
