This unit taught me about the different roles a teacher may use when teaching and the characteristics of a good teacher, as well as what motivates students to learn English and how a teacher should approach the classroom.
I feel that by knowing why your students are learning, you can better understand their learning methods and develop stronger teacher-student relationships.
I have learned that in order to be a good teacher, one’s teaching style must be adaptable to any situation, so that the learning environment is always maintained to a high level.
I have also learned that with younger learners, due to their nature, I should be a patient and understanding teacher.
