This unit covers the topic of course books as well as other materials that can be used in the classroom in order to better deliver a lesson. I've learned that while there are many advantages to staying true to a course book, there are also disadvantages as well that a teacher must take into consideration when not only designing lessons but also when choosing the course book to apply to their classroom. Much the same with other materials as well that may be beneficial but should note whether or not they are appropriate in terms of level and relevance.
