The content of the unit covered the parts of speech and basic English grammar. While I had no expectation going into the unit, I was surprised by how much I had forgotten. However, the unit was well organized, starting with sentence structure and then detailing each part of the sentence in a manner that was clear and concise. Starting with nouns, the lesson progressed naturally into adjectives, verbs and then into more complex nuances of English, including gerunds, of which I had completely forgotten about, but was delighted to learn that my cringing at the way people use the indefinite articles was spot on. Another aspect of the lesson that I really appreciate is the structure, as I produce an abbreviated version of the pdf to turn into flashcards, as it helps me remember.
