This unit starts off with conditional sentences. It explains the different types and their usage and gives teaching ideas, like 'split conditionals', 'chain sentences' and 'what if – scenarios'.
In the second part the unit covers reported speech. It explains how the indirect speech is used both in the present and past forms. A table for the 'backshift' is also also given and again several teaching ideas.
I once again found the exercise suggestions especially useful. I had recently looked up both of these topics for one of my tutoring students up, so I'm still familiar with the grammar, but of course another refresher is always useful.
