As a classroom teacher for almost 30 years, this has been a very concise reminder of what good practices in the classroom should be. Too many times as teachers we get in a hurry to get on to the next topic. At times I have found my self saying, "Any questions? Does this make sense?" Then briskly moving on to the next topic when no one says anything. It is much better to ask specific questions for understanding. I also liked the information on grouping students for better communication and learning.
