Unit Nineteen filled me in on the basics of teaching English to classes with not special, but rather specific needs, be it business, children, or simply an individual student, rather than an entire class. This unit has taught me how to assess the needs of those who are required to learn the language for work purposes, and how to keep kids attention, as well as being able to instruct a single student, without the variety of a classroom size number of other students. Multilingual and multicultural classes were also covered, and I now know how to keep their interests rooted in the language learning.
