In this unit, I learned how important various materials are. It is important to choose books, as well as activity papers wisely. Also, I didn't consider using "authentic materials" in an ESL classroom. This is a very interesting idea, and I feel would be very beneficial to high level students. I noticed that the lesson didn't focus on publishers. However, I believe where the book is taught, and made, can have biases.
