Unit 6, similar to unit 4, is all about tenses. This time the focus is on past tenses. I’m grateful for the units because it allows me to brush up on grammar structures I’ learned ages ago. Past tenses are similar to present tense in that there are aspects to make up the past tense; past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous, with past perfect continuous being the least used and taught tense in the English language. An interesting note from reading through the past simple form is the verb “to be”. I didn’t know that this verb had two past form.
