This unit is a review if the basic components of English parts of speech. Nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions are discussed along with types and demonstrations of their usage. Charts are provided that offer a quick way to reference certain types of words, specifically those words that have different principal forms, i.e. base form, past simple form, past participle form, and present participle form.
