This unit was obviously unique in that it included the video lessons. The first lesson was unbearable to watch, I felt bad for the students that had to sit through it, even if they understood it was an act. I give the actor/teacher Simon credit for putting on such a horrible show of effort, attitude, and complete disregard for the students, the process, and their education. The second lesson was great, the engagement and demonstrations were effective, and I enjoyed watching him go through that lesson. It didn't go perfectly, but the random answers, jokes, and mistakes were great examples of real classes, where things are unpredictable and students aren't robots or scripted actors.
