Unit 16 was about conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences that contain “if” and refer to past, present, and future possibilities. Reported speech is how you would tell someone else something you had been told before, or how you would “report” an event to someone. The five main conditionals are: zero, first, second, third, and mixed. Intermediaries, reporting verbs, and media interviews are also great ways to practice and teach students these skills.
