This unit was similar to the previous, except for the nature of written communication. Penmanship is mentioned as being a significant item, though I personally feel that it should specifically be in the form of printing (as opposed to cursive or "handwriting") to minimize confusion that may exist over the formation of the cursive characters. I do believe it is helpful to correct verbal communication in a timely fashion, though probably not in such a way that it disrupts a class activity.
