This unit was a broad overview of English parts of speech. It was a relatively brief surface discussion of each, but surprisingly included quite a few specific examples and rule exceptions. I learned several solid examples to use when teaching difficult part of speech concepts, as well as possible approaches to give students to remember those rules and exceptions. The nice way of explaining comparatives and superlatives, and which ones use the ending vs the precursor word, was a good illustration of this accessible format.
