Unit 10 shows to example lessons on video. The first video shows a lesson that is executed poorly. The teacher has little genuine interaction with the students and the students don't have student to student interaction. The exercises they have to do are not very clear and the game in the Activate phase is understood only by the teacher himself.
The second video shows a lesson with the same learner objective that is executed much better. The teacher teaches much clearer and has better interaction with the students. He lets students work together and makes sure they have the correct answers in the end. The Activate phase consists of a bingo game that is understood well by the students and gives them a real chance to talk English with their classmates.
The second lesson could be improved more if the teacher was in the class before the students arrived, if he would make the teachings on the board a bit more structures and if he would explain the fill the gap exercise in the study phase better.
