This unit I learned about equipment and teaching aids that can be used in the classroom while teaching. This unit provided a plethora of different aids- such as OHPs, computers, worksheets and video cassettes- along with some advantages and disadvantages of each. Some of these aids are essential to classroom work- such as the whiteboard and worksheets, but there are some that may also be beneficial such as IWBs and computers as we work with younger children and a more technologically advanced generation. This unit also provided many resources I can use as a teacher- such as some free TEFL materials and aids for students that can used to improve grammar and vocabulary.
