Tenses can be quite confusing for both students and teachers. This unit has allowed me to better understand the usage of the present tense and its usage so that I can better understand how to explain it to students. Tenses like the present perfect and present perfect continuous may be challenging for students because of their similar structures, but when shown how it is being used through examples and lots of practice, it should be better comprehended.
