This unit grounds the student back to the basis of tenses and provides an overview of how an action relates to the flow of time. It shows how an action takes place, and how the past actions relate back to the present context (present perfect/present perfect continuous) and if the focus should lie on the action or activity OR the resulted or completed action. The unit was arranged in a clear manner with the establishment of the 4 tenses: present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous, with a good description of the forms: positive/negative/question. Overall what I took away from this unit is a clearer sense of the wording structure and the relation of the verbs and time on a linear scale.
