Unit 11 is the shortest so far but the importance of it cannot be ignored. The unit deals with the two receptive skills reading and listening. The unit discusses the different reasons we have for reading or listening and outlines the different ways we do this such as skimming, scanning etc. The unit also outlines ways to overcome problems students may have with reading and listening and provides a sample receptive skills lesson plan.
