Unit Fourteen was about Coursebooks and Lesson Materials. The Unit explained that there are Authentic Materials and Created Materials. Authentic Materials are ones used, viewed, read, etc. in the daily life of a native speaker such as newspapers, videos, menus, brochures and so on. Created Materials are ones that a teacher creates to supplement what he/she is teaching in class like crosswords, gap-fill, picture stories and so on. The Unit also presented the pros and cons of using coursebooks, including options for adaptation of such.
